Splugen Brau: a "Must" of design! Another "copyright" design, another lamp by Flos conceived in the fabulous sixties and become a "must" over the years. Splügen Bräu, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, needs no introduction as it is recognizable at first glance; an eclectic pendant lamp shining in his "dress" of aluminum, characterized by shape and finish full of personality. The focus of attention is obviously the reflector, made of spun aluminum, polished and protected by a transparent varnish; polished and zapon spun aluminum finishing makes it instantly a recognizable lamp. The shapes of the reflector are full of personality too: a semi-sphere embellished with many "chops" that enliven the surface and provide a great side for the ambient light that is reflected on it. The source of light is direct and makes Splügen Bräu ideal for illuminating tables or desks: the ideal location is in the kitchen or on an important table thanks to its technical and aesthetic characteristics, although the strong character of Splügen Bräu gives it more versatility than what at first glance it might seem.
