Twenty years after the creation of Lumiere, one of the most famous products by Foscarini, Lumiere XXL was introduced. In its name we find the symbol of two decades of success, but also a new dimension of this project. Lumiere XXL is not a simple enlargement of Lumiere, but a completely rethought product, functional to its new proportions and specific use. The tripod is still in metal but with a stronger mark and with a new material and irregular finish. Even the blown glass diffuser acquires new geometries, as well as becoming more valuable, in relation to the difficulty of obtaining a large and perfect shape, mouth blowing the incandescent material, with rare handcrafted virtuosity .
