The lamp has been created in the 1958 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, after one year, in the 1959, the first prototype has been realized for Flos until the mass-production in the 1962.Taccia is made up of a base in anodized extruded aluminum or black varnished, the shape is cylindrical and it possesses some grooves which reminds the crosiser of a classic column.
