This collection was born from the encounter between Artemide, Issey Miyake and its Reality Lab, who, using a mathematical program composed by three - dimensional geometrical formula, started off very sculpture of shadow and light. Thanks to the recycled material from which they're made, material with a light transparency larger than the one of paper, these lamps keep perfectly their form, without need to any inner structure: the folding process, infact, creates sculpture volumes sufficiently strong, that can be recreated without problems, while the LED source allows low energy consumption. When not used, these lamps can be preserved folded. Thanks to its originality and design the IN - EI has received lots of awards thanks to the particular design of these suspension, table and floor lamps, which possesses evocative and very suggestive names.
